Give Warmth: Edmonton Winter Donation Drive

A warm place to come home to is something I’m grateful for. As the weather gets colder, I want to help share some of that warmth.

Through TJP Marketing & Digital Media Inc., I’m organizing a winter donation drive in support of YESS—Youth Empowerment & Support Services.

We’re collecting winter essentials and unopened hygiene products in Edmonton until November 30, 2026, focusing on needs identified by the YESS team.

Message me to arrange a drop-off. Once we confirm a time, I’ll send you the address privately.

— Tanner James Pennington

Who will the donations support?

This collection supports YESS, which provides shelter and other services for Edmonton youth facing housing instability.

Their team has identified warm winter essentials and personal hygiene products as current priorities. TJP will collect and organize the items, then coordinate delivery to YESS in early December.

What can I donate?

Winter clothing — clean, new or gently used:

• Winter jackets and sweaters
• Toques and scarves
• Waterproof gloves or mitts
• Winter boots, especially sizes 10–14

Everyday essentials:

• Hand warmers
• New, unopened toothbrushes and toothpaste
• New, unopened shampoo
• New, unopened socks and underwear

Please contribute items in good condition that are ready for someone to use. One jacket or a few everyday essentials are welcome.

How do I arrange a donation drop-off in Edmonton?

Message Tanner before bringing your donations.

  1. Tell me which items you’d like to contribute.

  2. We’ll confirm a drop-off day and time.

  3. I’ll send you the Edmonton address privately.

You can email me at tanner@tjpmarketingdigitalmediainc.ca or message me through TJP’s Facebook or Instagram page.

All drop-offs are arranged in advance.

When is the donation deadline?

Please complete your drop-off by November 30, 2026.

I’ll organize the collection and coordinate delivery to YESS in early December.

Can my workplace contribute?

Yes. You’re welcome to gather items with your colleagues and arrange one combined drop-off.

Message me with the types and approximate quantity of items so we can coordinate a suitable time.

Can I contribute used clothing?

Yes. Winter clothing can be new or gently used, provided it is clean and in good condition.

Hygiene products, socks, and underwear must be new and unopened.

How can I help if I don’t have items to donate?

Share this page with friends, colleagues, or your Edmonton community. It may reach someone with winter clothing to give or room to add a few essentials to their next shopping trip.

Help give warmth this winter.

Contribute what you can. I’ll take care of organizing the collection and coordinating delivery.

Donations accepted until November 30, 2026.

Message Tanner to arrange a drop-off. The address will be shared privately once a time is confirmed.
